2010 Caves Naveran ‘Dama’ Cava, Spain
Price: $29.99/bottle or $359.88/case
Sale: $26.99/bottle or $323.89/case
Pale luminous yellow in color with a very pleasant, refined and persistent aroma in character with it’s varietal and aging. In the mouth it is pleasant, soft and creamy. Dry and refreshing in nature, with a rounded and balanced after taste.
2012 Rombauer Chardonnay, Carneros, CA, USA
Price: $35.99/bottle or $431.88/case
Sale:$32.39/bottle or $388.69/case
This wine has a soft yellow color that will darken with age. Bright, vibrant tropical fruit aromas flow from the glass. Underlying grapefruit and lime add depth and character to the aroma. Seamless, textured layers of cantaloupe, pineapple and vanilla flood the palate. This wine will develop flavors of fig and apricot, giving richness, as it ages in the bottle.
2011 Brooks Janus, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA
Price: $31.99/bottle or $383.88/case
Sale: $28.79/bottle or $345.49/case
Earthy and brooding, beef broth, soy sauce, black truffles and sautéed mushrooms. This is a very distinctive wine with dark fruit, crushed blackberries, black cherry and rhubarb. The wine is so lush and silky in the mouth. Texturally it is like shag carpet with layers of dark fruit, earth, cola and root beer.
2012 Hermanos Malbec/Tannat, Salta, Argentina
Price: $15.49/bottle or $185.88/case
Sale: $13.94/bottle or $167.29/case
Intense red color with purple hues. Aromas of ripe red fruit with notes of dried fruits. Great structure, round and with a long finish in the mouth. We recommend popping the bottle thirty minutes before consumption and serving slightly below room temperature. Our favorite pairings are a flank steak or a lamb cassoulet, though it goes surprisingly well with tandoori chicken.
2011 Aquitania Cabernet Sauvignon, Maipo Valley, Chile
Price: $18.49/bottle or $221.88/case
Sale: $16.64/bottle or $199.69/case
Vinified to privilege the intensity of the fruitiness and the roundness of the tannins. It is a typically Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, with fresh flavors of red fruit and a tender, tasty structure.
2011 Marietta Cellars Zinfandel, Sonoma County, CA, USA
Price: $22.99/bottle or $275.88/case
Sale: $20.69/bottle or $248.29/case
A decadently-styled Zinfandel, it boasts a huge, ostentatious nose of pepper and black fruits, with
a touch of flowers and earth for complexity. A mouthfilling wine with high levels of extract,
glycerin, alcohol, and wonderfully lush fruit, this dense yet well-balanced Zinfandel should drink
well for 6-8 years.
